Meet Terri Love: Occupational Therapist with a Passion for Mental Health

At Your Physio Advantage, we’re proud to have a team of dedicated professionals who are passionate about making a difference in people’s lives. Terri Love, an experienced Occupational Therapist, brings a wealth of knowledge in mental health and drug and alcohol services, helping clients build independence and live fulfilling lives.

Terri’s career has been shaped by her time working with Central Coast Local Health’s mental health service and supporting young people as an AOD (Alcohol and Other Drugs) worker in juvenile justice. After taking a career break, she is now returning to practice, bringing her expertise and compassionate approach to the YPA team.

One of the most memorable moments in Terri’s career was helping to plan and attend a group holiday for people with mental health conditions—many of whom had never been on a holiday before, let alone seen snow. Moments like these highlight the impact occupational therapy can have in improving quality of life and providing new experiences for those who need support.

Outside of work, family is at the heart of everything for Terri. She loves spending time with her two adult children, watching NRL, and traveling back to the UK to see loved ones. She also has a cat and a dog who keep her busy at home!

Terri chose to work with Your Physio Advantage because of its strong reputation for supporting staff and its client-focused approach. She loves working with clients to help them achieve their goals, whether that’s through equipment recommendations, home modifications, or therapy interventions that allow them to maintain independence. For Terri, hearing clients’ stories and working with challenging cases keeps her job both rewarding and fulfilling.
