Meet Zabrina Khan: Passionate Physiotherapist and Advocate for Women’s Sports
At Your Physio Advantage, we are proud to welcome Zabrina Khan, a dedicated physiotherapist with a diverse background and a passion for helping others take control of their health. With a Master’s in Physiotherapy, alongside degrees in Science Technology and Society, Medical Microbiology, Immunology, and Physiology, Zabrina brings a wealth of knowledge to her practice. While she is in her first year in the physiotherapy industry, her varied experiences and commitment to patient care set her apart.
Zabrina’s journey into physiotherapy was inspired by her lifelong love of sports. Having played and supported numerous sporting disciplines, she always held physiotherapists in high regard. When she sought a career change, she knew she wanted to be in a role where she could directly impact people’s lives. Physiotherapy allows her to empower clients with the tools they need to improve their health and quality of life, making her new profession both satisfying and rewarding.
Outside of work, Zabrina is deeply engaged in sports and music. Whether she’s playing, watching, or supporting sports—particularly women’s sports—she’s always involved. She also spends her weekends enjoying live music and concerts. Her strong support network of family and friends played a crucial role in her transition into physiotherapy, and she remains grateful for their encouragement.
Zabrina is especially passionate about the growth and development of women’s sports, as well as fostering inclusive, safe spaces within physiotherapy, including LGBTQIA+ affirming care. At Your Physio Advantage, she found a workplace that aligns with her values—a multidisciplinary, supportive team where learning is constant and collaboration is encouraged. The camaraderie within the team and the opportunity to work with like-minded professionals make her experience at YPA truly fulfilling.
